The Glacier Wedding (2025)
Amin Muhammad and I are working on a 25-minute documentary called The Glacier Wedding about a team of scientists in Gilgit-Baltistan (a disputed territory in Pakistan’s borderlands with India and China) on a quest to regrow the region’s dwindling glaciers.
We’re splitting up the camerawork on this one. Have a look at our style guide for more info about our visual points of inspiration.
After Helene (2025)
Hallie Applebaum invited me to shoot part of her upcoming documentary, After Helene, which follows a community of artists who lost everything after Hurricane Helene ripped through their home in Asheville, North Carolina.
It was shocking to walk through town. Along the French Broad, water levels that rose as far as 27 feet clearcut every tree and manmade structure — while just a few paces up from the river, life carried on as normal. We wanted the visual style to reflect this disjunct: stark on the one hand, vibrant on the other.
