Right to Rescue (March 2024)
This is a scene select from a short doc I co-directed with Amin Muhammad that unpacks the legal issues undergirding animal rights activism.
Earthquake, Over (October 2023)
This was a class project I did on Jay Fenton, a ham radio operator whose club focuses on emergency preparedness in the East bay.
Stories from the Epicenter (October 2020)
This was an oral history podcast I worked on from late 2019 through its release in October 2020 about the Loma Prieta Earthquake (1989), which forever resculpted the cultural, political, and political landscape of Santa Cruz, CA. I share the byline with Daniel Story (who I worked under) and Madeline Carpou — two excellent team members, I must say!
Below are my pet episodes: one, “UCSC,” about how the earthquake affected (and didn’t affect) the UCSC campus, and two, “The Memory Remains,” about how traumatic memories change over time.
